Six Chinese idioms about “eternity” illustrated in pictures – 关于”永恒”的话题

Do you know any Chinese words or idioms that are about “eternity”? I will show you six of them today through a bit of art work that I did for this purpose. They will be illustrated in the form of questions and answers in the following pictures. Hope you like it.

流芳百世 (liúfāng bǎi shì): go down in history and hand down a good reputation to a hundred future generations

 

遗臭万年 (yíchòuwànnián): to leave a bad reputation for ten thousand years—to earn eternal notoriety

    Good stuff Grace :D. I particularly liked the last example:遗臭万年 “leave behind a stink for 10000 years”, very vivid!

    I found another very similar to your fifth example: 流芳千古 and with the same meaning.

      May I know what that is? The one similar to 流芳千古?
